15 worker have seriously injured in a blast at a steel factory.

Rurkee: At the iron factory at Mundiyanki in Narsan area near Rurkee, a huge blast took place, 15 workers were seriously burnt. The workers have been admitted to a hospital in Muzaffarnagar city of Uttar Pradesh.

There is a factory named Gayatri Steels in Mundiyaki village of Mangalore police station area. There was chaos in the factory around at 12:30 AM night due to a loud explosion. About 15 employees were injured and they have been soon admitted to the hospital.

It is being told that the factory management tried to hide the incident. Without informing the police, some of the injured were admitted to Muzaffarnagar and some to Roorkee private hospital. On receiving the information, the fire brigade and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation according to media report.

Mangalore station in-charge Mahesh Joshi, while confirming the blast in the factory, said that the local police had received information from Muzaffarnagar. After which investigation has been started. All the injured are undergoing treatment.
