Two found dead on the railway track.

Haridwar : On Sunday afternoon at Jwalapur Kotwali area of district Haridwar, a couple were found dead on railway track. The mutilated bodies of a woman and a man were found on the railway track between Bhagat Singh Chowk and Sector-2 barrier. It is suspected that both of them have committed suicide by jumping in front of the train together. According to police officials, both were husband and wife.

The incident took place on Sunday at noon. Shortly after the high-speed train passed, local people saw the bodies on the track and immediately informed the police. Jwalapur police reached the at the spot and took the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. The deceased have not been identified yet.

There hasn’t been recovered any identity card or suicide note from the accidental spot, its making identification difficult. Initially it is considered a case of suicide. However, the police is investigating all aspects closely.
