Kalash Yatra was taken out in Gopeshwar for the consecration of Shri Vigraha of Ramlala.

Chamoli: On the auspicious occasion of the consecration of the Shri Deity of Ramlala in Ayodhya, a social organizations along with the Municipality and Panchayats in Chamoli district conducted Kalash Yatra and Ram Bhajan along with extensive cleanliness of the temples, Tuesday.

Under the aegis of Municipal Council Gopeshwar, women and social organizations took out a grand Kalash Yatra from Gopeshwar Bus Station to Gopinath Temple. Ram Sankirtan was also organized in the temple premises by local women. The program concluded with the distribution of Prasad by Gopeshwar Municipal Council. Under the Swachh Teerth Abhiyan in Joshimath, cleanliness was carried out around Hanuman Shila in Baragaon of the city. The recitation of Akhand Ramayana is going on in the same Lower Bazaar Narasimha temple. And in all ancient temples, the chanting of Lord Ram Bhajan are chanting in the district.
