Chamoli: The Chief Minister participated in the Nanda-Gaura Mahotsav organized in Gauchar on Thursday. A huge Crowd gathered at CM Dhami’s road show at Gauchar, small town of district Chamoli.
The Nanda-Gaura’ festival organized by Chamoli district administration in Gauchar un toder women empowerment. The Chief Minister said that our mother power is working to implement the mantra of ‘Self-reliant India and Vocal for Local’ given by respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Our nation is touching new heights of progress only with the help of mother power. During this, CM Dhami gave a big gift by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of 604 development schemes worth Rs 400.39 crore in the border district Chamoli along with Kanya Puja, observation of mountain products.
The Chief Minister said that we have imbibed the basic mantra given by the respected Prime Minister “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” and our government has pledged to serve the census. During this, CM said that he has always received love from the people of Chamoli. The result of this is that today more than four hundred crore schemes have been inaugurated and foundation stones laid. He said that our government has been continuously working to make Uttarakhand the best state.
He said that as a Chief Servant, it has been my endeavor that whatever necessary steps are taken for the interests of the people of the state, without any delay. He said that while on one hand the country’s most stringent anti-copying law was implemented in Uttarakhand, on the other hand a law was also made to stop religious conversion. For the first time in the state, action was taken against land jihad. For the first time, we did not shy away from taking action against the corrupt. The Chief Minister said that the State Government has approved the Uniform Civil Code in the Assembly.
