Chamoli: District Chamoli administration has intensified the campaign to invite migrant voters to their cities and villages to increase the vote percentage in the parliamentary general elections.
On the instructions of the District Election Officer, information about migrant voters have been collected from BLOs at all the booths. The sweep team is communicating with the family members of the migrant voters by taking their contact numbers and motivating them to vote at their respective booths in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. On Thursday, members of the sweep team contacted migrant voters at various booths and gave information about the Lok Sabha elections. During the dialogue, migrant voters showed enthusiasm for voting. Migrant voters said that they will definitely come to their village to vote at their booth.
To ensure everyone’s participation in voting, under the SVEEP program, information about the Saksham app was given to disabled and elderly voters at Tangsa, Dugdi Kande, Bamiala, Bachher, Saikot Kothialasain on Thursday through disable Awareness vehicle.
