The villagers will boycott of parliamentary election- No road No vote.

Chamoli: The people of village Pana Irani Jhizhi Bhanali have given a memorandum to the Sector Magistrate Chamoli to boycott the 2024 parliamentary elections on Monday.

The villagers have decided, to no cast vote in the upcoming parliamentary election, in this context, the villagers of two villages have given memorandum to the sector magistrate Chamoli. In the letters said that this election time there will be boycott of the election from our both villages . We are always being fooled by the administration and without having road facility we are facing a lot of difficulties in our very day life area member Pana Irani Vijay Negi said.

The villagers are making a  constant correspondence to the district administration and public representator about the complition of under construction work of road and bridge, but they turn deaf ear of our demands, last year 2023 the villagers were on hunger strike for a long time and few officers from district Chamoli had been over here and assured our villagers to complete the our both demands, after spending around one years time, even no any cognizance have taken by administration so far, that’s why we villagers strongly made up our mind to boycott of parliamentary election said Vijay Negi further.
