The door of Lord Badrinath temple  has opened for devotees for six month.

Chamoli: The world famous temple of Lord Shri Badrinath, the door has opened Sunday for devotees today on 12th May at 6:00 am on the auspicious time with full rituals and Vedic chanting, thousands of devotees are witnessed this holy moment.

On the occasion of opening of Badrinath doors, special worship was performed on the first day. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami has congratulated all the devotees. Amidst light rain, the melodious tune of Army Band and Dhol Nagadas and the praise of Lord Badri Vishal with traditional music and dance of local women mesmerized the devotee.

After this, the doors of the temple were opened with rituals by the chief priest of the temple, Rawal, Dharmadhikari, Haq Hukukdhari and officials of Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee in the presence of administration and thousands of devotees.

Chief priest VC Ishwar Prasad Namboodri prayed for everyone’s well-being while performing special prayers to Lord Badrinath in the sanctum sanctorum. With this, the darshan of Badrinath has started for the summer season. On the very first day, thousands of devotees earned the virtue of the Akhand Jyoti and the darshan of Lord Shri Badrinath in Badrinath. On the occasion of the opening of the doors, the Badrinath temple was decorated with 15 quintals of flowers.

A day before the opening of the doors, a crowd of devotees started gathering in Badrinath Dham. With the opening of the doors of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, the Char Dham Yatra has fully begun in Uttarakhand.
