Valley of flower will open for tourists on first June.

Chamoli: World famous Valley of Flowers situated in district Chamoli, will open for nature lovers on 1st June. The world famous Flower Valley Trek located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand will be opened for tourists from June 01, 2024.

The Valley of Flowers Trek is famous in all over the world for its various type of flowers. The Valley of Flowers is rich in rare Himalayan flora and is a unique treasure of biodiversity. Colorful flowers of more than 500 species bloom here. For nature lovers, the beautiful views of Tipra Glacier, Rataban Choti, Gauri and Nilgiri mountains are also seen from the Valley of Flowers. The Valley of Flowers will remain open for tourists till October 30.

Deputy Conservator of Forests, B.B Martolia said that the first team of tourists for the Valley of Flowers will be flagged off from Ghangaria Base Camp on 1 June. Tourists will have to come back to Base Camp Ghangaria the same day after trekking the Valley of Flowers. There is a proper arrangement for the accommodation of tourists in Base Camp Ghangaria. He said that the eco track fee has been fixed at Rs 200 for the indigenous citizens and Rs 800 for foreign nationals for the valley of flower tracking. The track has been made easy and convenient. Tourist guide facility will also be available from base camp Ghangaria for the Valley of Flowers.
