Travel arrangements and reconstruction works inspected by DM at Badrinath.

Chamoli: Himanshu Khuran, District Magistrate district Chamoli has turned up at Badrinath Thursday and inspected the reconstruction works and travel arrangements being carried out under the master plan.

Over the slow progress of the river front development works being carried out under the master plan DM Khurana has expressed displeasure. He directed the implementing agencies to ensure progress in the construction works with planning by increasing human resources in the river front development works.

The construction works of Civic Amenity Center, Arrival Plaza, TICC, Hospital Extension and Tirtha Purohit resident should also be completed expeditiously, and pay special attention to the quality in the construction works and most of the works of the master plan should be completed before the arrival of monsoon season. During the inspection, the Executive Engineer of PIU informed about the progress of the ongoing works.

The District Magistrate has instructed the officials associated with the Travel Management to keep the travel arrangements in order keeping in mind the convenience, safety and convenience of the devotees in Badrinath Dham, so that the devotees can have a smooth darshan in Badrinath Dham. He also asked to pay special attention to cleanliness and hygiene in the Dham. During this, he inspected the arrangements like water ATM, queue management, LED screen installed for darshan slot management etc. in the Dham and gave necessary instructions.
