Four people have been killed, under the landslide debris.
Rudraprayag: It has been a torrential rains in Uttarakhand for the last three days, the life of the people is facing fear again, as late night Wednesday, due to heavy rains, a major accident took place at Phata in district Rudraprayag, killed four people of Nepal origin.
Four Nepalese nationals were covered under the rubble in landslides caused by heavy rains, and all four have been died in this accident. According to the information, the District Control Room Rudraprayag at 1:37 pm, got an information of the landslide, the SDRF team under the leadership of Inspector Karan Singh immediately left for the spot. The SDRF team reached the spot after walking 02 km due to the blockage of Dolia Devi road.
On reaching the spot, the team found that it was not possible to reach the JCB machine due to heavy rains and blocked road, and thSDRF personnel themselves started the rescue operation by excavation. SDRF Uttarakhand Police team pulled out 04 bodies from the rubble and handed them over to the district police.
