Gratuitous relief amount distributed to disaster affected families in village Pagano.

Chamoli: Village Pagano, in the block Joshimath, relief amount cheques, gratuitous relief and food kits were distributed by the tehsil administration to the families affected by landslide.

On 22nd August 2024, seven families were affected by the landslide from the hill above Village Pagano. For the affected people a cheque of 1.30 lakh relief amount and gratuitous relief amount was given to one family when their residential building was completely damaged. 6500 rupees per family and 5 thousand cheques per family were distributed to 05 families under gratuitous relief amount the building of two families was partially damaged. Food kits have also been provided to all the affected families earlier. The administration team is providing all possible help to the disaster affected families. The process for displacement of landslide affected village Pagano is also going on.
