NSS students of Gopeshwar College participated at national level
Gopeshwar: National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Government Post Graduate College Gopeshwar have performed the folk art and culture of Uttarakhand at national level.
Dr. Darshan Singh Negi, NSS Program Officer of the college, who is leading the cultural team of Uttarakhand, said that P.G .College Gopeshwar’s volunteers Saurav Sati, Arun Prakash and volunteers of P.G.Collage Thatyud, Sheetal and Lakshmi also have participated in the seven-day National Integration Camp organized at Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar on behalf of Uttarakhand state.
In the camp, among the participants from 17 states, the cultural team of Uttarakhand displayed the splendor of Uttarakhand’s folk culture on the national platform through the folk songs, folk dances, folk jagars, folk sayings, folk ornaments and folk cuisines of the state. Which was highly appreciated by the participants from other states.
State NSS Officer, Dr. Sunaina Rawat, On this achievement of the volunteers said that talented students will be provided more opportunities to participate at the national level through NSS.
