Snow covered the high peaks of the district, increased cold.

Chamoli: Snow has covered all the high peaks including Badrinath, Hemkund Sahib of Chamoli, the border district of Uttarakhand.

Actually, the weather suddenly changed in the district due to which there was snowfall and the cold also increased tremendously and people have been forced to take the help of fire and hail in the houses. Even today the weather is completely covered with clouds.

This rain and snowfall has proved to be a boon for the crops of the farmers because the weather was dry in the state for a long time and the crops were on the verge of drying up.

Tourists have also started coming from far and wide to see this beautiful view of nature at the snow sports site Joshimath, Oli and Chopta etc. of the district.

People are looking very eager to enjoy the snowfall and are enjoying this beautiful enchanting view of nature with their families.
