Camp Office will be built in Chamoli Tehsil premises for district magistrate.

Chamoli: Sandeep Tiwari, district magistrate Chamoli has inspected Tehsil Chamoli Tuesday and he instructed to RWD to make a proposal to demolish the dilapidated building in the tehsil premises and build a camp office in the same style.

He said that the District Magistrate will present here to hear from common people two days in a week, and this will help in Chardham Yatra Management, it will also save the valuable time of the complainants from remote areas.

District Magistrate, Tiwari has also inspected the Art Section, Weaving Section in the Weavers Center. The officer in charge of the Weavers Center informed the District Magistrate about the schemes being run by the Government of India for the weavers as well as the work being done at the Weavers Center. He told that schemes like concessional loan Weavers Mudra Scheme, Handloom Weavers Welfare Scheme, Handloom Marketing Assistance etc. are being run for the weavers.

District Magistrate instructed the Project Director to provide training to the women of self-help groups in making color and dyeing and weaving from black bamboo (Basil) found in abundance in the district.
