Five bodies recovered from under the debris including three women and two children.

Chamoli: The rescue team is working constantly to rescue and recovered the bodies that went under the huge debris of cloud burst at block Nandanagar’s villages, the bodies of five missing persons buried under debris at village Kuntri have been recovered.
The recovered deceased include three women and two children. The team of NDRF, SDRF and police are on constant search option. To search the bodies under the debris is not easy but they are working hard to remove the soil and stone and breaking the damage roof of houses into the search of the dead bodies.
District Magistrate, Sandeep Tiwari and Superintendent of Police, Sarvesh Panwar are continuously inspecting the disaster-affected area. District Magistrate stated that work is underway to restore the Sera-Dhurma road, which was completely washed out by the disaster. He added that efforts are underway to deliver relief supplies and ration kits and restore pedestrian movement. It is hoped that the road will be restored soon.
