Chamoli: An invited lecture has given on the immense employment opportunities in academic writing in a programe organized on Thursday at Government Postgraduate College, Gopeshwar.

Keeping in view of increasing utility of project work and dissertation in accordance with National Education Policy 2020 by the Department of English, a special lecture was organized for the students on the topic “Disserment and Project Writing”. The keynote speakers of the program Dr. Vishwanath Rana and Dr. Rohitash Thapliyal in their lectures highlighted the essentials and usefulness of project work and dissertation keeping in mind the New Education Policy 2020 in particular.

Dr. Rana said that under NEP 2020, priority has been given to research-based education, skill development, critical thinking and practical knowledge. Students should complete their research work with originality, rationality and academic integrity. Program coordinator department in-charge Dr. D.S Negi said that such lectures in the college would prove helpful in increasing the research activities.
