Works under master plan at Badrinath inspected.

Chamoli: District magistrate had been to Badrinath Dham, for site inspection the works being conducted under master plane, on Saturday. The work of Badrinath Maha Yojana is going on day and night to give a divine and grand appearance to Badrinath Dham and for the development of passenger facilities.

The District Magistrate directed the executive institutions to increase the number of laborers and make sure to speed up the construction works. Necessary materials for construction works should be ordered in advance and complete soon the work of laying cobblestone and inter-linking tiles on the banks of Loop Road, ISBT, Shesh Netra and Badrish lake. Prepare an alternate route on the river as soon as possible to transport construction materials and machines to the other side of the river. So that rapid construction of riverfront development and new bridges can be done on both sides.

Riverfront development, ISBT, lake development, civic amenity center, arrival plaza, hospital expansion works by on-site inspection, district magistrate inspected. He said that the construction works should be completed with quality as soon as possible. Superintending Engineer PWD, Rajeev Sharma gave information regarding the progress of the works being conducted.
