Nature and forest guide training of 6 day started.

Chamoli: District Tourism Development Committee has started 06-day nature and forest guide training has started at Joshimath from Monday. Inaugurating the training program, District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana congratulated all the trainees.

Every year lakhs of tourists visit to district and all tourists need skilled and knowledgeable nature guides to know the natural beauty of this place. A good nature guide can play an important role in this, who can informed the tourists about all the trees, plants, flowers, wildlife, mountains, waterfalls, rivers and natural mysteries of the, inspiring to youth district magistrate said.. The turists will get information about nature and nature guides will also get good self-employment. Training program of Nature Guides through experienced and expert trainers has been started for local youth to start a career as a good nature guide. The benefit of which will be given to the local youth here. During this, the District Magistrate also provided training kits to the youth.

District Tourism Officer Sobat Singh Rana, giving the information said that 30 youths from different areas of the district are being trained as nature guides, in which include 21 youths and 9 girls. After training the youth for three days at Joshimath, they will also be taken on a tour of Valley of Flowers, Ghangaria, Hemkund Sahib and other trekking places. He said that every kind of training is being given to the youth through experts to become a good guide. Nature guides will go ahead and give information about the customs, culture and mythological heritage, natural beauty and other things here with gentle behavior from the tourists and will also earn a good livelihood from it.
