The promotional vehicles of National Games has flagged off by DM Chamoli.

Chamoli: For wide publicity of the mascot, logo, jersey and tagline etc. of the 38th National Games in Chamoli district through canter, District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari flagged off the promotional van from the district office Gopeshwar Chamoli on 06 January. The mascot of the National Games, Mascot Mouli, will travel in the promotional vehicle from 06 to 08 January to all the blocks, major cities and remote rural areas in the district and inspire people to join the national games.

It is a matter of pride for all of us that Uttarakhand state is hosting the 38th National Games, our Devbhoomi will also develop as a sports land in future, the promotional canter vehicle with the mascot of the National Games Mouli will travel in all the development blocks of the district to remote villages and cities and promote the national games and inspire people to join the national games. On 10th January from 11am to 2pm a grand Pandavaj show will be organized at Police Ground, Gopeshwar and the hosting of National Games will be made historic, district magistrate, Sandeep Tiwari said.

On 9th January, beside this, a torch rally will be organized at Gwaldam by getting torch from Bageshwar district and the torch will reach Gopeshwar for night halt from Gwaldam via Tharali, Kulsari, Narayanbagh and Karnaprayag. On 10th January a torch rally will be organized at Police Ground, Gopeshwar from Sports Stadium via Mandir Marg.
