Preparation of travel arrangements to Badrinath inspected by DM.

Chamoli: District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana conducted a site inspection of Dham Wednesday, for the preparations of travel to Badrinath, and directed the departments related to the travel arrangements to make all the arrangements foolproof before the start of the Yatra.

He also directed the implementing agencies to speed up the works by employing adequate manpower. Also, instructions were given to UPCL, Jal Sansthan and Nagar Panchayat to make arrangements for electricity, water and to make the roads smooth for movement in the Dham.

The District Magistrate inspected the works being done at Arrival Plaza, Loop Road, Aastha Path, Sheshnetra Lake, Hospital as well as the temple premises and priest’s residence.PIU’s Executive Engineer Vipul Saini gave detailed information to the District Magistrate about the progress of the works being done under the Master Plan.
