Chief Secretary reached Badrinath to see the arrangements for Chardham Yatra.
Chamoli: Radha Raturi, Chief Secretary in govt Uttarakhand, reached Badrinath on Thursday morning and did a field inspection of the arrangements for Chardham Yatra and reconstruction works.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi reached Badrinat along with Special Officer of Tourism Department Bhaskar Khulve, Tourism Secretary Sachin Kurve and DGP Abhinav Kumar. As she reached Badrinath, did a field inspection of the travel arrangements and reconstruction works. For proper arrangements should be ensured to make the journey of the devotees coming on Chardham Yatra simple, easy and convenient. Alternative routes should also be kept smooth, she directed.
During the field inspection of the reconstruction works being carried out in Badrinath, the Chief Secretary instructed the implementing agencies to complete the construction works speedily with quality. She said that special attention should be paid to timeliness in reconstruction works. During this, he took complete information about Shesh Netra and Badrish Lake, Arrival Plaza, International Bus Station, River Front Development works. The Deputy District Magistrate Chamoli informed in detail about the Chardham Yatra arrangements and the progress of reconstruction works.
