The students would not be able to appeared in board exam of 10th and 12th without online registration.
Dehradun: Without online registration, the institutional students of class 10th and 12th of Uttarakhand Board will not be able to appear in the board examination in the year 2025-26. The Secretary, Uttarakhand Board of School Education, V.P Simalti has given information.
He has issued instructions to all CEOs regarding registration. In the instructions issued by the Secretary of the Council, it was said that in the year 2023-24, online registration of students of class 9th and 11th was done on the portal of the department, in which at some places the information of the names of the students, parents’ name, date of birth, subject, caste, medium, disability etc. is appearing incorrect.
The registration data is to be used for the board examination year 2025. The last opportunity is being given to correct the wrong and incomplete information. For this, the portal is being opened from June 10 to July 15. After this, if any student is deprived of data correction, then the responsibility will be of the concerned principal.
It was also said in the instructions that if after passing class 9th and 11th from the school, the student takes admission in some other school or fails in the class, then the details of such students have to be deleted. It was also said in the instructions that the details of students who have been transferred from a school or have come to the school from another board will not be recorded now.
