Chamoli: Rajendra Singh Bhandari, BJP candidate, has submitted his nomination For the Badrinath assembly by-election, in the RO office on Thursday.

For the by-election in Badrinath seat, 10 different political parties and independent candidates have taken nomination papers, but till now only BJP candidate has submitted his nomination in RO office. No candidate has taken nomination papers Thursday. The last day for submission of nomination papers is June 21. The nomination papers will be scrutinized on June 24 and the nomination can be withdrawn by June 26. For the by-election, the Badrinath seat will be voted on July 10 and the counting of votes will be held on July 13.
