Three tier panchayat’s elected all levels heads, members and president would oath on 27 August.

Dehradun: In Uttarakhand, three tier panchayat election went over recently, the newly elected village heads, BDC Pramukh, Senior junior Pramukh and District Panchayat member, district panchayat President and Vice President would oath on 27 August, the date of oath ceremony has declared.

Panchayat Secretary in state government, Chandresh Kumar has directed all the District Magistrates regarding the date of oath taking. The oath taking of the newly elected Gram Panchayat members and Pradhans will be on 27th August. The first meeting of the Panchayats will be held on 28th August. BDC pramukh, Senior junior Pramukh will take oath on 29th August and the first BDC meeting will be held on 30th August.

Similarly, the oath taking of the newly elected District Panchayat member vice President and President will be on 1st September and the meeting of the newly elected board of the District Panchayat will be held on 2nd September. With the oath taking, small governments will come into existence at the village, block and district level.
