Young voters are made  aware through awareness rally for vote.

Chamoli: Under the SVEEP program, Youth Voter ‘Mahotsav’ (a special awareness program) was observed with great enthusiasm in district Chamoli on Thursday.

In the youth voters special program, youth voter rally was organized in all the higher educational institutions of the district including PG College Gopeshwar, B.Tech and Nursing College Gopeshwar, College Karnaprayag, Narayanbagad, Talwadi, Pokhri. In the rally, students through slogans and posters appealed to the local voters to vote on 19th April.

Sweep Nodal Officer, Abhinav Shah said that District Election Department Chamoli has set a target of maximum voting by keeping young voters at the centre. Sweep coordinator Kuldeep Gairola said that the sweep team is conducting voter awareness campaign with special strategy regarding youth, women and disabled voters in Chamoli district.
