Sweep team went door to door and contacted elderly and disabled voters

Chamoli: Election department Chamoli, Under the Sweep program for elderly and disabled voters was organized on Sunday, and Sweep personnel went door to door and interacted with the disabled and elderly voters and motivated them to vote.

The Sweep personnel conducted a campaign in villages like Kaub, Juner, Gadhsir, Vanuni, Dhanpur, Mauna, Gabni and Rei of Tharali assembly constituency, Ghandiyal, Gauchar, Baunla, Maikhura, Karnaprayag, Saliyana, Thirpak, Nauli, Saran, Kedarukhal, Khandura and Helang, Joshimath and Brahmin Thala of Badrinath assembly constituency to dialogue with elderly and disabled people. The personnel registered the volunteers above 85 years of age or those in need of other help and disabled voters for the Saksham Abhiyan. Along with this, the voters were also motivated for 100 percent voting.
