Professor Federation held talks with the government about annual academic calendar.

Chamoli: The officials of Uttarakhand State College Professor Federation held talks with the government on Friday.

A delegation led by Provincial President Dr. Diwakar Bauddh met Higher Education Additional Secretary Dr. Ashish Srivastava at the Secretariat in Dehradun. During the meeting, detailed talks were held regarding the annual academic calendar in higher education.

Advisor of the Federation Dr. BC Shah said that the Additional Secretary has given positive assurance to reduce the reduction in annual holidays.

General Secretary of the Federation D.S Negi said that the Professor Federation appreciates the efforts made by the government to regularize the quality and sessions in higher education, but at the same time will continue to struggle to protect the interests of the professors.
