By- election Exit polls will be banned by this period.
Chamoli: The Election Commission of India has banned exit polls from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm on July 10, 2024 (Wednesday) in view of the assembly by-elections.
Deputy District Election Officer Vivek Prakash said that conducting any type of exit poll in the context of the election and publishing or publicizing its results by print or electronic media or publicizing it in any other way will be prohibited. Along with this, it will be prohibited to display any electoral process including the results of opinion polls or other surveys in any electronic media within a period of 48 hours before the time fixed for the end of voting.
