Many problem of villagers have heard by CDO on Tahsil day, most of them resolved.
Chamoli: Tahsil day has organised, for quick resolution of public problems and complaints, in block Dasholi’s Auditorium on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah.
There were 28 complainants of villager, related to their own areas on Tehsil day, out of which 11 complaints were resolved on the spot. While departmental officers were instructed to take effective action to resolve long-term problems. The Chief Development Officer said that the complaints received on Tehsil day should be taken seriously. And after investigating the complaints impartially, ensure their disposal on the stipulated time.
The complainants, came from villages like Lassi, Sartoli, Theli, Samedungra, Majothi, Rangtoli, Khainuri, Gadhora, Mayapur etc. On Tehsil Day, lodged complaints related to road, electricity, drinking water, land compensation, MNREGA, natural disaster etc. On the complaint of farmers of village Saanji not getting compensation for their land lost during the construction of Saanji-Byara motor road, CDO directed PMGSY to distribute compensation among the affected people immediately.
SDM Chamoli was asked to investigate on the complaint of Lansi-Sartoli road widening, asphalting, bridge and drain construction not being done as per the correct standards. Irrigation department was directed on the complaint of not getting compensation for agricultural land affected by landslide in Kothiyal village Burali of village Paduli.
In the meeting, SDM was asked to solve the problem by inspecting the problem of landslide and the danger to the residential building and inter college due to road debris falling down near Pathela Tok on Nijmula-Gauna road along with the concerned officials. In the Tehsil Diwas, instructions were given to the concerned departments for immediate solution of the problems related to drinking water problem in city areas of Chamoli and Maypur Gadhora, hanging electric wires and poles in Batula, Kodiya etc. areas, landslides, repair of damaged drains in old market of Chamoli, cleanliness, non-operation of municipal bus service.
