District Chamoli won gold medal in state level Taekwondo championship.

Chamoli: State level Taekwondo championship competition was held on 14th and 15th November in Haldwani of Nainital district of Kumaon division. From district Chamoli 08 Taekwondo players also participated in this competition, and in this compition, Hifza Noor won gold medal in girls category from Chamoli district, while Dishant, Anurag and Jai Krishna managed to win bronze medal.

Hifza Noor, who won gold medal in girls category, has got an opportunity to participate in the National Championship organized in Haryana (Panchkula) from 28th to 30th November. After the conclusion of Taekwondo competition in Haldwani, all the players who returned to the district were warmly welcomed by the officials of Taekwondo Association Chamoli and wished for a bright future for all the children.
