An induction meeting organized on the importance of IGNOU’s distance learning program.

Gopeshwar: At the Government Postgraduate College Gopeshwar, Wednesday a detailed information was given by the Regional Assistant Director of IGNOU to the regular students of B.Ed, including distance learning students of IGNOU about the various distance learning courses of IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).

Regional assistant director of IGNU, Jagdamba Prasad Thapliyal, as a chief guest in this introduction program of IGNOU, organised at P.G College, as the chief guest, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

In this program, Regional Assistant Director Dr. Jagdamba Prasad Thapliyal shared information related to IGNOU with the students. He told that at present time many useful courses are being conducted in IGNOU and students can apply for admission in various courses, and students can get advantage benefit of various programmes of IGNU, pursuing admission in certificate, diploma courses from IGNOU, along with their regular courses. A dialogue was established with the counselors of the study center and a discussion was held on how better management can be done in the interest of the students.
