Amidst the forecast of rain and snowfall, all officials in the district be alerted -DM

Chamoli: According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department Dehradun, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in district Chamoli on 27th and 28th February.

In view of the weather alert the District Magistrate instructed all the officials associated with IRS to be remain alert. Along with this, the local people have been advised to take special care, safety and control in traffic.

Sandeep Tiwari, District Magistrate Chamoli, has instructed the officials to be ready to deal with any situation, in case of snowfall in high altitude areas, the road related departments have been instructed to immediately restore traffic. He instructed the District Education Officer to provide the list of examination centers located in high altitude areas and the Disaster Management Officer to make the arrangements to be made in the centers during snowfall. So that the students appearing for the examination do not have to face difficulties.
