Land has identified for parking construction at three places at Block Karnaprayag area.

Chamoli: In order to strengthen the traffic system and increase parking facilities at Block Karnaprayag district Chamoli,, land has been identified by the tehsil administration for parking construction at three places in the sequence of announcements made by state Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The details of the identified places are as follows, the first place is the land of village Bhedgaon (Tehsil Karnaprayag) adjacent to the Badrinath National Highway in front of the Karna Temple in Karnaprayag town, which has been proposed for parking construction.

Second parking place is the land of village Peepalsera (Revenue Sub Inspector Area Simli karanpryag) adjacent to the Karnaprayag-Gwaldam National Highway near Simli Motor Road, which has been identified for parking construction, and for the third parking, near Kankhul Taxi Stand, land of village Karnaprayag (Tehsil Karnaprayag) adjacent to the Rishikesh-Karnprayag-Badrinath National Highway has been identified for multi-storey parking construction, which is on the banks of the Pindar River. It is proposed to construct parking lots keeping in mind public interest and various religious events, especially Nanda Devi Raj Jat.

District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that parking lots will be constructed at all three sites in the interest of the general public, so that local residents, traders and travellers can get easy parking facilities. Photographs of the identified places are being prepared and sent to the government and the necessary procedures are in progress.
