Harela festival has observed with great pomp in P. G. College Gopeshwar.

Chamoli: Under the Harela festival week, a tree was planted on the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (one tree for mother) by Namami Gange unit in the premises of Govt Post graduate College Gopeshwar Wednesday.

The green festival week is being celebrated from 16 to 23 July 2025. Swachhata Abhiyan(cleanliness drive) was conducted by Namami Gange unit in the Principal’s residence and B.Ed department.

Principal of the college Prof. MP Nagwal, professors and volunteers planted orange, lemon, bay leaf, pomegranate saplings. It was also ensured that the plants were adopted and their regular care was taken.
