FCM and MP Garhwal meet victim’s families of Chamoli incident.

Chamoli: Former Chief Minister and Garhwal MP Tirath Singh Rawat reached Chamoli to met the families affected families of Chamoli incident on Sunday, and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the Chamoli accident of electrocution, take place few days back in Namami Gange Project site, he wished peace to the departed soul.

Member of parliament Garhwal, Tirath Rawat reached Gopeshwar Sunday morning, and inquire about the condition of Anand Lal, who was injured in the accident, returned last night after getting treatment from AIIMS Rishikesh. Rawat got very emotional after meeting the families of the casualties in the accident, while consoling the bereaved family members, he assured of all possible help and said that all arrangements related to compensation, treatment, had done immediately by the government.

He said that this was a very painful incident. Cognizance is being taken of this incident, that way it has happened, action is being taken against those who are guilty in this all incident. And action has also been taken by the government against some people. The culprits of the accident will not be spared at all. After to come back from meet victim’s families, he held talks with the district level officials at the guest house of the Public Works Department and directed them to provide immediate relief to the victims.
