The volunteers of the National Service Scheme took the oath of Panchpran.
Chamoli: Meri Mati Mera Desh program was organized at Government Post Graduate College Gopeshwar on Thursday under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. In-charge Principal Prof. to the volunteers in the program. Oath of Panch Pran was administered by Manoj Uniyal.
Addressing the volunteers, Principal Prof. Manoj Uniyal said that Meri Mati Meta Desh is a national program under which India has to remember the martyrs who laid down their lives for the protection of the country and honor their dependents.
Highlighting the various aspects of Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign, Senior Program Officer Dr. Vandana Lohani said that every volunteer has to collect information about the soldiers living in his village.
In the program, Nodal Officer of Anti-Drug Cell, Dr. Manish Mishra said that every volunteer should stay away from drugs and make others aware. Along with this, he also informed the volunteers regarding voter awareness.
