In a road accident five people dead on the spot.

Nainital: A Delhi number car fell into a 500 meter deep gorge near Baghni bridge in Nainital-Kotabagh block. Five people traveling in the car have died in the accident. Police reached at the spot including SP Crime and are engaged in rescue.

There is a information about the death of five people traveling in a tourist car after it fell down into a deep ditch near Baghni on Devipura-Saur Road in Kotabagh block at late last night. The administration received the news of the accident at 2:15 pm on Saturday, after which police and administrative officials reached the spot. The officials have started the rescue operation on the spot with the help of the villagers. The people killed in the accident have not been identified yet.

District Magistrate Vandana Singh said that the vehicle that fell into the ditch was of Delhi number and the accident happened late last night and after receiving the information, Kaladhungi police has reached the spot while Nainital Sub-Collector Pramod Kumar and SDRF team have also reached at the spot. She said that only after the officials reach the spot and the rescue operation is completed and trying to find out the identification of the people dead in this accident.
