A man found dead near road side

Joshimath: The police found a dead body of a man beneath the road leading to Tapovan village, Joshimath to Malari highway in Chamoli district. The dead body has been taken into custody by police and sent for post-mortem, prima facie of the death of the person is believed to be due to heart attack.

Tapovan police post received the information on Saturday, that a person is lying dead on the footpath below the village. On information, Inspector-in-charge of police station Joshimath, Rakesh Bhatt and police force from Tapovan reached at the spot. Inquiries regarding the deceased person revealed that the person was Tajbar, resident of Joshimath Sunil village. Who worked in Hrithik company and was going to Tapovan for his personal work. The police have taken possession of the dead body and are conducting the Panchayatnama and post-mortem.
