The doors of Bhu Baikunth Badrinath Dham will open on May 12.

Chamoli: Badrinath Dham’s temple door will be opened for this year’s Yatra on May 12 at 6 AM morning with ancient Vedic mantra On Wednesday,

On the occasion of Basant Panchami( a festival of welcoming spring season), the date of opening of the doors of the temple was decided by calculating the calendar in Narendra Nagar. Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, said that as per tradition on Wednesday, the date and time of opening of doors of Badrinath Dham was determined by calculating the horoscope of Maharaja Manujendra Shah.

The doors of the temple have been fixed at 6.00 am on 12th May. While the date for threading Gadu Ghada oil has been fixed as 25th April. Before this, representatives of Badrinath Dimri Religious Central Panchayat reached Narendranagar Rajmahal with Gadu Kalash. After which the date for opening the doors of Badrinath Dham was fixed along with religious traditions.
