Villagers handed over a latter to boycott of parliamentary election to CM Dhami at Goucher.
Chamoli: The Chief Minister participated in the Nanda-Gaura Mahotsav organized in Gauchar on Thursday. A huge Crowd gathered at CM Dhami’s road show at Gauchar, small town of district Chamoli.
Pushkar Singh Dhami, chief minister of uttarakhand has given a big gift by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of development works worth ₹ 400.39 crore in the border district Chamoli. On the other hand the remote villagers of Pana and Irani have given a later of parliamentary election 2024 boycott to CM Dhami, according to the villagers.
The villagers of Pana and Irani have been waiting for the complition of motor road and a bridge on the river, near of their village, in this context, the villagers have had on hunger strike too, but district administration has assured them to complete the demand of villagers. After passing a long wait nothing happened on the ground, that’s why the villagers make up their mind of boycotting the upcoming parliamentary election 2024. The village area member of Pana Irani, Vijay Negi said.
We have to suffered a lot every day in our daily life without having the road, during any women’s delivery, or anyone’s illness we people picked up them on shoulder to deliver upto road, in rainy season we have to cross huge and risky river, the villagers pointed it on the latter.
