A wanted accused under POCSO, arrested by police.

Chamoli: Tharali police has arrested an accused, wanted under the POCSO Act, has been running away for long time. Devendra Singh Rawat, SHO Tharali told that a litigator gave a complaint in police station, that his miner girl went away without informing to family. The police did registere case under the POCSO Act against accused.

In the given complaint, litigator said that the accused Deepak Ram has taken his minor girl to Rishikesh and sexualy assaulted her, was arrested already by police. But on the statement given by victim before the court, the name of Yogesh village Kurad, Tharali came into fore, wanted Yogesh was running away since the incident, arrested by Tharali police on 11 July. After that he was sent to the court for remand.
