Golden girl Mansi Negi once laurels country again.

Chamoli: Mansi Negi, popularly known as the Golden Girl of Uttarakhand, has brought laurels to the country. The Indian team won a bronze medal in the 20 km race event at the ongoing World University Games in China. Mansi Negi, who was a part of the team, performed brilliantly.

Mansi’s coach and sports officer in-charge Pauri Anoop Bisht said that Mansi has brought laurels to the entire country with her excellent performance. He congratulated the entire Indian team for winning the medal and told that this competition will be till August 8. Originally from Chamoli district, Mansi Negi is pursuing her graduation from Lovely Professional University.

Golden girl Mansi Negi had won the gold medal in the under-20 women’s 10,000 meter walk race at the 37th National Junior Athletics Championships held in Guwahati from November 11 to 15 last year. Mansi is in China nowadays, and she will represent the country in this championship.
