Youth Red Cross distributed, relief material in disaster affected village areas.

Chamoli: District Red Cross Society Chamoli, Government Post Graduate College Gopeshwar’s Youth Red Cross, Rovers Rangers, NSS Cell and Junior Red Cross Unit G.I.C Dungri Macot under joint auspices distributed relief material to the disaster affected village area Dungri, Kauj and Pothani on Monday.

Principal prof. Kuldeep Singh Negi, naugurating the relief distribution campaign, said that natural calamities are unpredictable, therefore the conscious society should provide all possible help to the victims at the time of disaster.

District Red Cross Society President Bhagat Bisht said that the organization stands with the victims at the times of disaster. State representative of Red Cross Society Omprakash Bhatt said that at the times of disaster, the victims need financial help as well as emotional help too.

On this occasion, Youth Red Cross in-charge of Gopeshwar College Dr. Arvind Bhatt, Rovers Rangers in-charge Dr. Jagmohan Negi, NSS Program Officer Dr. Darshan Singh Negi, Dr. Dinesh Sati, Atma Prakash Dimri and many volunteers were present.
