Chamoli: The disable and elderly voters were Inform about Saksham App Wednesday, for upcoming parliamentary election.

To ensure everyone’s participation in voting, an awareness campaign was conducted in private industrial estate Jaikandi Kaleshwar under the SVEEP program on Wednesday. In which the importance of voting in democracy was discussed with all the entrepreneurs and workers. During this, entrepreneurs and workers took the voter oath and signature and pledged to vote in the upcoming elections. Vice President of Industrial Estate Kaleshwar, including Pradeep Panwar, entrepreneurs and workers were present in the program.

Under the SVEEP program, signature campaigns were also conducted at public places in Municipality Gopeshwar, Gauchar, Karnaprayag and Nagar Panchayat Nandprayag and Gairsain. In which elderly, youth and women voters took part in large numbers and pledged to vote in the upcoming elections.

Disable and elderly voters were aware through vehicle, voters in Karnaprayag, Simli, Nauli, Bagoli, Narayanbagad, Rais, Chopta, Kotli, Sunbhi, Bhatiani, Vinayakdhar were given information about the election process and Saksham app for disabled and elderly voters. On behalf of the Social Welfare Department, awareness program for disabled and elderly voters was organized in Gram Panchayat Tapovan and information about Saksham App and voter oath was taken.
