Weekly Public Meeting to Fast-Track Grievance Redressal.

Chamoli: The district administration has announced that a public meeting will be held every Monday to ensure swift resolution of local issues, complaints, and suggestions. Chaired by District Magistrate Gaurav Kumar, the program will run from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm in the District Office Auditorium at Gopeshwar.
As per the directive, all district-level officers will attend in person, while tehsil and block-level officials will join via video conferencing. The District Magistrate will personally hear grievances, review their progress, and monitor complaints registered on the Chief Minister’s Helpline 1905 along with cases linked to the Chief Minister’s announcements.
Officers have been instructed to come prepared with updated information and relevant documents to ensure maximum cases are resolved on the spot. The District Magistrate emphasised that matters of public interest must be prioritised and addressed promptly, with full preparation and accountability from every department.
This initiative reflects the administration’s push for transparency, responsiveness, and timely delivery of solutions to the people of Chamoli.
