Dehradun: The statue of India’s first CDS late General Bipin Rawat will be installed in Pauri district, the preparation have been made. The statue of the country’s first CDS will be installed in Kandolia. Near his statue a 100 feet high national flag will also be hoisted.

The Public Works Department has started preparations for this. His statue is being installed on the initiative of DM Dr. Ashish Chauhan. Late General Bipin Rawat was originally a resident of Sain village of Dwarikhal block of Pauri district. He became the first CDS of the country in the year 2020.

CDS genral Rawat died in a helicopter crash in December 2021. In his memory, there is a plan to install a statue at the view point located in Kandolia of Pauri city. Land has also been selected for this. People reach this place. In such a situation, whoever reaches near the statue, he will come to know about CDS Late General Bipin Rawat. A hundred feet high national flag will also be hoisted near the statue site, which was late. Will also give the message of Rawat’s bravery saga.
