Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Sunday, where they discussed in detail on Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Both the leaders held consultations on various issues for about three hours.
CM Dhami told to the media at Uttarakhand house in Delhi. He said the committee constituted for UCC in Uttarakhand is currently preparing the draft. The committee is expected to submit the draft soon. The government’s stand against corruption in Uttarakhand is clear and very strict.
Zero tolerance policy is being adopted against corruption. The government has resolved to make Uttarakhand crime and corruption free. Wherever corruption-related complaints are received in the state, quick action is being taken on them through vigilance, said further, Pushkar Dhami CM Uttarakhand. Earlier there used to be large scale corruption in the examinations for government jobs, now it has been curbed, and more than 80 arrests have been made in Uttarakhand on charges of trying to plot imitation in recruitment examinations. The government has brought a strict law against simulation.
