World environment day has celebrated P.G.College Gopeshwar.

Chamoli: A program has organized today, on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’, in the auditorium of P.G.College Gopeshwar.  As a chief guest of the program, Sushila Semwal, a environmental activist of Gopeshwar, told about the efforts made at the local level for environmental protection by the women of hill, and said that the forest is like a mother’s home for a women of Uttarakhand.

The students have presented speeches and poems related to environment in the programme.  On this occasion, environment protection oath was administered by Swati Negi, principal incharge of college. On the occasion of Environment Day in the college, tree plantation was done by the principal and professor group.
