An accused, cheater of 5 crore rupees, arrested by police.

Chamoli: Kapil Dev Rathi, main wanted accused who was absconding for many days, was arrested by Chamoli police from Bakkarwala New Delhi with the help of Delhi Crime Branch team.  The accused is the chairman of Janshakti Multistate Cooperative Society and a case of fraud was registered against him of more than Rs 5 crore rupees, and a reward of Rs 25 thousand was also kept on him

Superintendent of Police Chamoli, Pramendra Dobhal, taking the matter seriously, formed different teams to arrest him and searched at all possible places, and ultimately with the help of the team of Delhi Crime Branch, he was arrested from Bakarvala New Delhi.  Accused Kapil Rathi along with four other accomplices used to lure people to deposit their money in cooperative society and making false promise to return their money with certain period and interest but they befooled innocent people of Uttarakhand, they ran away from here and embezzled all money.

Pramendra Dobhal, SP Chamoli told press that the accused Kapildev Rathi, a resident of Rathi Building Nangloi, Delhi, in more then 9 police station cases have been registered against him in Uttarakhand. The accused has miss used of cooperative society and cheated people, there are cases registered in various articles of fraud in the state.
