A woman attacked by bear, seriously injured.

Chamoli: Saraswati Devi, resident of village Panti Narayanbagad, went into forest along with two other women, to take grass leaves for cattle on Wednesday morning.

When the three women cutting grass leaves, a wild bear suddenly attacked at Saraswati Devi she screamed for help but two collogue women went off due to fear of dangerous wild bear, the poor Saraswat struggle to escape her all a lone. Although, ultimately bear ran away but left her with deen nail wound over whole body.

The collogue women informed the villagers and they taken her to hospital, the doctors abruptly gave her first treatment, and after that she was referred to higher center for further treatment. Her husband made very humble request to administration and forest dept, that he life is running under impoverishment and is not able to afford his wife’s treatment in the hospital, the personal of forest dept were also present here and they assured that process of the compensation would be sanctioned soon.
